Just seven gaming sponsors will be present in the following English Premier League season.
The government has not formally forbidden gaming sponsors. Now, Cinch will have “substantial brand exposure.”
Crystal Palace will replace gaming sponsor W88 with Cinch as its major shirt sponsor for the upcoming English Premier League (EPL) season.
Cinch, a fast-expanding online vehicle marketplace, will be featured on the front of Palace’s new shirt. Removing W88 from jerseys would reduce the number of gaming-advertised clubs in the Premier League to eight out of twenty. Still, Spreadex Sports-sponsored Burnley has been demoted and will also be exiting the league.

The multi-year agreement will provide Cinch access to the front of Palace’s jerseys and the leading advertising space on the team’s website. Cinch will also gain “substantial brand exposure” with the academy teams, Selhurst Park, Palace’s home stadium, and digital content.
Cinch is a well-established, family-friendly, and instantly identifiable brand across the UK.” After the highly successful season that the W88 sponsor had, this is likewise an excellent pick.
“Cinch is a well-established, family-friendly, and instantly recognizable brand across the UK and beyond,” said Barry Webber, commercial director at Crystal Palace. “This landmark relationship is yet another indication of the club’s off-the-field development.” As we enter our 10th consecutive season in the Premier League with a squad brimming with international talent, this is an exciting time to begin our collaboration.
Crystal Palace’s most recent season proved fruitful, as the team finished 12th in the EPL, its highest result in the past three years. It also suffered only 12 defeats, its lowest number in Premier League history and its fewest in the top level since the 1990-91 campaign.
In his debut season at Selhurst, manager Patrick Vieira led a young team spearheaded by midfielder and Player of the Season Conor Gallagher. He returned to Chelsea after a successful loan and defenders Marc Geuhi and Tyrick Mitchell.
Avril Palmer-Baunack, chairwoman of Constellation Automotive Group, the owner of Cinch, is delighted to join a rising team.
“We count on collaborating with the teams, supporters, and local community and have great expectations for the club’s success next season.”
