Some computers or laptops are experiencing an error starting the Microsoft operating system. This error causes the computer screen to go completely black and only the mouse cursor appears blank. Due to this failure, sometimes we have to wait more than 10 minutes for the computer to finish starting the operating system. For some people, the situation makes them very uncomfortable.
Why does my screen go black when I start Windows 10?

When the black screen error appears in Windows
Black screen with blank mouse cursor usually appears when logging on to computer. Whether you have password protected or not, when you click on log in, the screen goes black. If this happens, there is nothing you can do, just wait for the operating system to start after several minutes.
So it is useless to have a computer with a fast startup of the operating system like mine.

The solution to fix the screen error in Windows 10
As this error is caused by the latest update installed, the solution is to uninstall said update. Or you can also wait for Microsoft to release a new Windows 10 update or patch that fixes the bug. To uninstall the latest Windows 10 update, you have to go into your computer’s settings.
Click on the Start button, Settings and Update and Security.
There we click on View update history and enter the option to uninstall update. There you can see all the updates installed on your computer. The system will begin to uninstall the selected update, so we will have to wait for this process to finish. Once the process is complete, click Restart now and wait for your computer to fully restart. After restarting, you will be able to log into Windows without the black screen error appearing. You just have to wait for Microsoft to release a new update to update your device.
